You can then double click on the downloaded file to implement the changes. The Finishing Line is distributed and supported by Rossdhu Business Systems Pty Ltd on a "best endeavours" basis. The system is initially loaded from a CD and may then be kept up to date by downloading updates from this web-site. To bring your system up to date, you can download the latest update from the list of updates on the left hand side of this page. You do not need to have downloaded previous updates. The FAQ section, accessed from the FAQ button on the menu bar, addresses many of the common questions about The Finishing Line. Changes in this version A Consolidation option has been added to the Progressive result screen to allow consolidation of races which are not part of a multiple race day group. Specifically it is for use when a progressive result is composed of results from 2 different series with a specified number of drops from each series. An export feature has been added which will allow finishing times to be exported for input to another results system. This is primarily to assist in the parallel runnijng of the new Finish Line system. |

Version 3.10.13 released 7th September 2019 Note: Registration for the year 2019-2020 is required for this download to work. Changes in this version The processing of Average Handicaps has been sreamlined. It is no longer necessary to calculate the average handicaps before reprocessing the race results, this is now automaticaaly included. Handicap calculations have been amended to only include BCYs for races where handicaps are updated. Previously the BCY from previous races was included in the handicap calculation even if the handicaps were not updated for that race.. The menu structure has been modified to make finding functions easier. The Participation Report which gives an analysis for the season of individual boat and division participation has been enhanced to include additonal information. A new report has been included which provides an analysis of an individual boat's handicap for the season. This can be useful in locating discrepancies in handicaps. When importing boats for a regatta, more checking is done to remove non-acceptable characters from names. |
